Prior to founding Warranty Design in 2015, Scott led product development for AIG’s $1B U.S. Services division. This experience convinced him of the need for independent expertise in protection product development would benefit all industry participants.

Matt develops innovative insurance and warranty programs while navigating the industry's complex regulatory landscape. With deep expertise in both regulatory compliance and business operations, he collaborates with sellers, administrators, obligors, and underwriters to create practical, compliant, and profitable solutions. His comprehensive understanding of industry regulations and market dynamics enables him to help businesses overcome challenges and build programs that align with industry standards while delivering value to clients.

Chris is an experienced executive with a track record of scaling businesses, optimizing operations, and driving market expansion. He specializes in aligning strategy with execution, improving financial and operational efficiency, and leading cross-functional teams to deliver measurable results. From expanding retail partnerships and streamlining operations to enhancing risk management and financial controls, Chris helps organizations improve profitability, navigate growth challenges, strengthen partnerships, and build sustainable business models.

Jim brings 40 years of experience in the management and execution of services to the firm. He specializes in projects involving: service operations, supply chain management, logistics, and lean process design. He advises clients in system design and selection, service process optimization, and creation of exceptional customer experiences. Prior to joining warranty design in 2016, Jim spent 12 years as a service operation lead for Asurion where he managed a nationwide network of in-home service providers for both appliances and electronics.

David utilizes his broad international, telecom, and P&C insurance expertise to bring new concept and opportunities to the firm. He specializes in innovations in energy efficiency, demand response, electrification, and regenerative technologies. Prior to the firm, David spent 20 years as managing director of insurance brokering and consulting firm SFG. SFG was a partner of IoT consulting firm 151 Advisors (acquired by Momenta Partners).

Jesse is an accomplished legal, regulatory compliance, business strategy, and risk management professional with 25 years of experience focused on risk identification and mitigation within the highly-regulated insurance industry. He has a thorough understanding of compliance, legal, and operational complexities, and a proven ability to create innovative product and program solutions to meet clients’ business objectives. Prior to joining the firm Jesse was a partner at Frost Brown Todd where he specialized in legal and regulatory work in the protection products industry.

Amanda’s passion for research means she’s always ready to find the solutions available to make her clients’ visions a reality. She remains on the lookout for any news or changes in the insurance and warranty industry to keep her clients informed and compliant. She also has experience in general legal practice and litigation, with a focus on seeking amicable resolutions in consumer disputes. Amanda holds a J.D. from the Liberty University School of Law.

Emma oversees our day-to-day legal operations, ensuring the efficient management of business functions, financial operations, and client services. With a strong background in both administrative operations and litigation, she plays a key role in streamlining processes and enhancing operational efficiency. Emma brings 4 years of experience to her role, where she is dedicated to improving workflows, supporting staff, and driving client satisfaction. She holds a B.A. in Communication Studies from Ball State University, which has equipped her with exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
